Spinal traction is a form of mechanotherapy. Dosed stretching of the spine relieves compression of the intervertebral discs and helps the vertebrae return to their correct physiological position, which is why it is used for osteochondrosis, herniated discs and posture problems.
The technique combines traction with massage and vibration applied to different sections of the spine.
During the course it is recommended to sleep on a firm mattress and wear a corset.
