Intravenous laser blood irradiation (ILBI, known in Russian as VLOK) is a procedure in which the patient’s blood is exposed to low-intensity laser light through a thin intravenous light guide. It has a systemic restorative effect on the whole body.
The procedure is painless and is carried out by experienced medical staff using modern equipment.
ILBI improves microcirculation and oxygen exchange, reduces blood viscosity, strengthens immunity and speeds up tissue repair. It is used as part of combined treatment, including for heart and vascular conditions.
